How to Play: For Richer or For Farkle

This is a game of luck and nerve! The goal is to be the first player to build a wedding fund of 10,000 points.

The Vows (How to Play)

  1. To start your turn, roll all six giant dice.
  2. After every roll, you must set aside at least one scoring die or combination (see scoring below).
  3. Now for the big decision: you can either BANK the points you've collected and end your turn, or you can RISK IT and roll the remaining dice to score even more.
  4. Your turn continues as long as you keep rolling and setting aside scoring dice. If you manage to score with all six dice, you can pick them all up and keep rolling!

For Poorer (The Farkle!)

If you roll the dice and get no scoring combinations, that's a FARKLE! Your turn is over, and you lose all the points you accumulated for that turn.

The Riches (Scoring Combos)

  • A single 1 = 100 points
  • A single 5 = 50 points
  • Three 1s = 1,000 points
  • Three 2s = 200 points
  • Three 3s = 300 points
  • Three 4s = 400 points
  • Three 5s = 500 points
  • Three 6s = 600 points
  • A 1-2-3-4-5-6 sequence = 1,500 points
    (Other combinations like four-of-a-kind can be scored as three-of-a-kind plus the single die's score.)

Happily Ever After (How to Win)

The first player to reach 10,000 points wins! However, every other player gets one final turn to try and beat that high score.
